Even as we following the exciting products that the “Green Gold” (Bamboo) is dishing us we have to keep our eyes on our original mandate - the Hurricane Season, thus recognising that GFFB has now become a multipurpose blog. So please keep referring to the links below as the Hurricane season progresses.

June 1, 2010:For the North Atlantic…Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico…Tropical cyclone formation is not expected in the next 48 hours.Today Marks the first day of the Atlantic hurricane season which will run until November 30.  Long-term averages for the number of named storms…hurricanes…and major hurricanes are 11…6…and 2…respectively.
